Key Dates

​Term 4 2025

Mon 10 Nov - NCEA Level 1 Exams begin
Fri 14 Nov -  New Entrants 2026 Orientation Day, Branches Work Day
Weds 19 Nov -  Pre-Branches Tramps
Mon 24 Nov - Accord Day (No classes). Exams will run as normal, Branches Camp 1 begins (finishing 30 Nov)  
Mon 01 Dec - Branches Camp 2 begins (finishing 07 Dec) 
Mon 08 Dec - Year 9 Prizegiving (Last day for Year 9 students), Year 13 Graduation from 6 pm, Year 10 Rest Day
Tues 09 Dec - Year 10 Prizegiving - Term 4 ends.​

2026 Term Dates

Term 1: Monday 26 January to Thursday 02 April
Term 2: ​Monday 20 April to Friday 03 July
Term 3: Monday 20 July to Friday 25 September
Term 4: Monday 12 October to Wednesday 09 December

2024 Academic Results
​As a school we work very hard to support students to achieve their ‘best possible qualification’ and to give them as many options and opportunities as possible for their future, and so we are very pleased that so many students have done so well.

The Educational Review Office (ERO) has published its 2024 report for WHS, full details can be found on the ERO website or view the report below.

Assessment Calendars

The internal assessment calendar provides the due dates for all internal assessments being sat by students throughout the year for each course in Years 11-13.
